Order accepted by Ford?

I ordered through my dealer nearly a week ago and still have no email from Ford confirming my order. I asked my dealer today and they said I will get an email from from Ford as soon as they accept and verify the order.
is this a common issue? How long does it take for Ford to ‘accept and verify’ my order?

There are a bunch that have never received it. However, typical time has been within 5 to 15 minutes of dealer inputting information in system for a lot of us.

I should have asked, did they take a copy of your Drivers License when you ordered? If NOT that may be the holdup.

I received my confirmation email the same day that I placed the order back in August. Did the dealer get a copy of your driver's license? That seems to be a key step some dealers are leaving out. Others seem to just not put the email address in correctly or use the dealer's email.

I put my order in on the 4th of July and went to my dealer the next day. didn't get something from Ford until July 12th. Almost 3 months later I'm still waiting for confirmation that my Maverick will be scheduled. Nothing from Ford since then.

my order confirmation was received from Ford the day following I ordered at dealership and paid a $500 deposit.

I ordered my Lariat back in June and had an email response before I even drove off the lot.

Dang that is awesome. I am hoping my order is in and it is just a system error. Still no email for me from Ford.

I ordered in July and got no confirmation. Dealer confirms I'm in the system and good to go though so *shrug*

I've never received anything from Ford. Both the dealer and Ford customer service have confimed my email. I just kept calling the Ford CS line (1-800-334-4375) and was suprized that I had a VIN and November 1st build date.

I gave my order and deposit to a dealer on Sept 5 and still nothing from Ford. I called the dealer to make sure he had the right email address and twice a week since then. They say it takes months for Ford to acknowledge

then I went to another dealer and they said if they cleaned everything up with regionl should give them the order. Prior to this I was talking to two dealers that wanted Extra Funds to take theorder

I was even talking to a dealer six hundred miles away and was about to order from them but how would I get there timely

last night I went to a dealer that I had problems with twenty years ago and I was treated like royalty. Waited as as the dealers demo was unload and was thrown the keys. I then went in placed my order and am smiling again

This stems from my order for an XLT with a 2.0, 2nd and towing package. I placed the order and gave the deposit. Then the change cam out and I said go for the 4wd and I’dpay and then get credited. I find out 3 weeks later the dealer never placed the order and noting but lies

I’mvery happy with the new dealer I am dealing withnow but sour with the dealer that now has my money and screwed meout of the 2220 for the change to 4wd and never placed my order and lied to me giving no straight answers

I received mine the same day. Do you still have the order sheet? If so, what is the priority code on it? Customer orders should be below 20 for that code.

The information on that sheet also is what Ford asks for if you call or instant message Ford customer service. I am unsure if they absolutely need that info to look it up, but it might be worth checking with Ford to see if they have record of your order.

I still never received an email, ordered like 6 weeks ish ago. Contacted my dealer a couple times early to make sure it was done correctly, they had no problems showing me. Called Ford rep also and she said emails were automated and seemed to be hit and miss on people getting confirmations. She was however able to confirm that she could see my order in the processing phase and I would definitely receive an email when my VIN got made etc.
