If everything works out I should have what amounts to the Ford accessory tailgate light ( no longer available) for under $200. I can take pictures of the install if anyone is interested.
Guess I should put it in the classifieds, but if anyone is interested I have the Ford Maverick accessory tailgate light strip brand new in the box that I used my points for and never installed. Paid over three Benjamin's for it. I'll sell it for $200 plus $20 shipping (US shipping only please). PM if interested.

Took some amp readings on a Putco 48" and 18" Pair.
I've had the 48" sitting awhile and then decided I'll use the 18" Pair instead.

48" on a 12V battery going thru Putco controller (the lightbar is sitting in the foam packing)
LH+RH LEDs On. +12 line into the controller 1.6A. 0 Amps on the YL, GN into the controller.

Reverse White LEDs On. +12 line into the controller 1.4A. 0 Amps on the White into the controller.

It appears the LED controller is pulse width modulating and regulating the current to the LEDs.
Running a Putco 48" direct from 12V, LH RED LEDs is 4.55 Amps

Hey, thanks that is very helpful. Do you by chance know the fuse rating of the 12v accessory circuit off the top of your head?
I have a set of 15" Virtual Blades I will be installing on my grille. I measured those at 1.2 running amps. I was thinking of running them off the dedicated left DRL FET since I don't have Lariat headlights.

Yeah, I would have bought it off you. I have taken a pretty big risk buying a "new-open box" unit off eBay for $150 shipped. No returns and no warranty.

12V for the bed is a 20A fuse in 2022-2024.

Not the case with this one. I ordered and purchased it brand spanking new in the box from Fairway Ford in Canfield, OH using all my points and my own cash for the remainder. eBay vendors don't accept Ford points.

Checking back in. I just finished installing the Putco 48” Blade using the OPT7 harness as a plug and play option. Everything is working 100% with no modifications to the harness or the Blade.
I decided to skip the ACC 12v feed to the Blade driver for now. Wired direct to the taillights. I took some amp draw measurements of the factory incandescent lamps, and the LED replacements. There is enough energy savings that I believe I can add the Blade without overloading the FETs.
I basically tucked all the connections and the driver behind the left rear taillight in the body cavity. If I need to add the 12v feed I can just remove the one taillight housing and add a connector to the flex bed outlet.
I will add better pictures and a video later. So far I am very happy with the outcome.
I also plan on adding a 15” pair of Virtual Blades to the grille, hopefully tomorrow.

I have this harness system on my 2024 Lariat Hybrid and bought it in November 2024. I use it with a nilight LED tailgate light bar and have had no problems with it at all.

That is the one I used, as well. It had very negative reviews. I checked it over pretty thourghly and everything looked good. So far it is working perfectly with a Putco light. For the price you can not beat it, in my opinion. Ford/Motorcraft branded pigtail connectors are stupid expensive. Even on Rockauto.

Glad to hear it is working out well for you. I have been very happy with it as well.
