Americans worried about ROVP process- what applies to Canadians?

It seems our processes are slightly different up here. With the Americans worried about hybrid orders being bumped to 2023 (rumour) and dealers not completing ROVP (some acronym for order process) by a Nov deadline- what applies to us??

I would love for anyone for Ford Canada insider info to update us. I ordered a hybrid in Oct, but from talking to another dealer the other day he said they only had 6 confirmed VIN for 50+ orders, so honestly maybe I need to wrap my head around a 2023… really hoping the price doesn’t get jacked up after being so patient.

I didn't ask for anything, but in my sales guy did send me a photo of their "Ford Order Fulfillment Vehicle Visibility" screen which is Ford's internal system, showing it was there.

"In Order Processing" and Secondary "Unscheduled - Clean"

So it's in Fords hands - will show up when it shows up. My expectation is late summer now.

August 26 order. I went fully loaded XLT Hybrid: Luxury, Sunroof, Copilot, Hard Tri Fold, Splash Guards (Dealer removed this 4 days in as they were showing to hold up order), Floor Mats (carpet + rubbers) (Just missing the rear window which is not powered, or else I would have gotten that too, only avail on Lariat, and as you know, no Hybrid Lariat)

Doesn’t sound like anyone in Canada (so far) has been receiving calls from their dealer about any delays to 2023.

As I noted in another thread, I ordered the base XL hybrid with a hitch and full size spare on November 8th. After watching Tim Bartz's live stream last week, I check with our local dealer and he had a VIN number and a scheduled build date of March 14th for me. So as noted by others on this forum. Check in with your dealer. The question now for me is: do I continue to order some aftermarket accessories, ie. Bed Mat, Tonneau cover etc now or wait until the truck arrives

Depending on which tonneau cover you want I would order now. Lots are on backorder with 8-10 week lead times. So i would want to get on that list ASAP.

Nice… I am almost the same date/ order as you. But 360, hitch, rear window. I guess sadly those might hold me back!

I am ordering a Truxedo Pro X15, soft folding cover, a Bedrug XLT bed mat & tailgate cover. I was looking at the Penda Ford OEM 5 piece liner but that was approx, $560.00, where a Line 'X' and Rhino Liner were both $600 CDN + 15% tax.

I suppose we could attack Canada, make you the 51st state, and then you could join us in the other 50 states with the same rules and process and not get your Maverick, but this time as an American. Couple things you will have to get used to—our football fields are smaller and Espn does not have a lot of curling.

I've been trying to decide if I should pre-order some stuff as well. If the dealer nails me with markups (more than $5k) I'd for sure have to pass on the truck, so I'm very hesitant to order anything ahead of time.
