Yes I have a long commute 150 a day. And that's 75 one way and 75 back. I don't like driving slow.

The Tremor is a 2.0L Turbo. And it great. Short drives get the worst mpg in the city. But the long stretches it gets great MPG in normal mode.

With my with driving our Hybrid period she gets better in both the city and highway. Kinda of a Nance driver.

I still have our Hybrid XL and a new XLT Tremor.
Okay so you have two. Curious what MPG you get with the Tremor?

Yes sir.

I get a solid 26 to 28 when I'm driving. I am not a slow mover, but I have a 75 Mile each way commute so I am to put it in cruise 😎 and roll at one constant speed for a while. That's is Normal mode.

Towing the tent trailer..about how much does it weigh and what has your MPG been when towing> thanks.

1280 unloaded, 1420 loaded.

On a 750 mile trip to Morro Bay with about 35 miles of it up, and hard up. 27.6 MPG round trip. We were maxed in the truck too, the whole family and truck bed was full.

200 mile trip a lot of highway maxed again. But bad winds 22.8 mpg round trip.

No family just gear, 28.4 mpg was my average. I πŸ‘€ kept at 55 to 60.

I hope that helps.

I love my XL Hybrid.

theres a guy at youtube that was at 93k miles, but then again he travels for work. btw his transmission died recently which is pretty concerning. i worry about these cheap trucks and 2023 American woke corporations ability to do anything right tbh. but, who knows tbh. my dad also says todays cars are more reliable than ever and he might be right too. maverick just has a bit of a cheap aspect too
If his name was Daniel with a Area 51 Fx4 4K tow pkg. I seen videos of him beating that truck pretty good. Driving in snow drifts on purpose. Getting it stuck and trying to get it unstuck by rocking it back and forth. He even pulled a f-350 out of one of the same snow banks. That truck was abused pretty good. No wonder it had transmission issues.

I'm kind woulda could a shoulda in the hybrid. But I was told no.more hybrids when I ordered mine. So I will be interested in following you reports especially the cvt. Kinda scared me. My XL EB EB was the quickest way to get one and the Capitva was gasping. In retrospect I wish I had gotten the tow package. But oh well. Good report, straight on no fluff. Thanks for taking the time to do so.

Well I finally hit a year on our 2022 Maverick Hybrid XL. It is cactus gray with a moonroof, 2k tow package, center console plug πŸ”Œ, dealer installed Keypad entry, the perimeter security plus for remote start on the fobs, and mud flaps.

Ordered 10/21 received 10/22, a year at 10/23.

Tint was put on the next day after we got it. I also put on a hood deflector from AVS. The slim fit stick on deflector.

I added BFGOODRICH Trail Terrain 235/65R17 at 500 miles, I also added a bed mat and tailgate protector.

I added a Softopper folding camper shell around 29,000 miles.

I also put two cubbies in the bedside for storage.

I guess I have done a lot to the truck. Well overall I'm pretty darn happy with the MPG, performance, value and experience.

I would do it again. I have hold a few hiccups and bumps in the road, we had parts that needed to be replaced that were on back order like no other. I had software glitches, recalls, and still waiting on the underhood fire recall. I had An axle issue on both sides and we're still happy.

The ECVT is doing some strange things shifting and while stopping currently. It feels like its stumbles or a hesitation feeling while increasing speed and stopping. I had the issue looked at so far, no codes and my trans was reset Friday 11/3 so let's see if anything changes.

I do everything in the truck, camp πŸ•, commute, road trip, run errands, dump runs, fun runs, off road as much as the FWD Hybrid will let me, and really just use the truck.

πŸ«‘πŸ‘πŸ½ good job Ford, still need a bit of honing but at 40K βž•οΈ and a year my overall percentage is 83.55% I believe that is conservative and fair.

Forgot the most important thing MPG. I have averaged 30 to 31 on the regular. My wife has averaged 38 to 42 when she drives. I have averaged 31.5 MPGs for my 40150 miles. 29K Highway miles, 5k miles off roading or unpaved road. 4.1K Towing, 2K snow driving.

This is 1 of 3 Mavericks I have owned. 2 was a TREMOR XLT 9475 miles put on and 3 our new one is a TREMOR XLT.

Thanks for stopping πŸ‘‹ by.

That's Daniel, he is a Native American that travels doing pow wows and hanging out with his friends.

He has put quads and dirt bikes in his truck as well.

Blah, blah, blah...
How do you even put over a hundred miles a day on your Mav and have the time to write a review? Aren't you married? Don't you have kids? A social Life? Hobbies? Friends? What?

Wasn't really a tranny issue in the end. Was a broken wire. I followed his posts. I suspected a wire all along. Had similar issues on our cobalt. Chevy pulled the tranny etc. Ended up being a broken wire. Daniel probably snagged a wire having fun somehow.
