One phone call and 24 hours later, Ruby Red 2025 Maverick is mine

One phone call and 24 hours later. 4 in the afternoon I got a call from the ford salesman and he said you’re new maverick is here and I’ve got it cleaned up and out front. I laughed and told him I’ve already bought one. We talked a bit and told him I would like to look at it. I ordered the 2025 on August 23 of 2024. He was on vacation and didn’t get the information. On August 26 I found the lariat in iconic silver and bought it. I paid $1,500 below sticker and instantly fell in love with it. I asked if 10 the next day could I come and look it over. Shure and he said this is the sharpest maverick we’ve ever had.so I researched what my 24 was worth.after about an hour I come up with something I could live with. I also know you never get a good deal at a car dealership. So i show up and it’s 10 degrees and windy. But sunny. We talked a bit and I asked him to have someone look at my24. I had read all the good and bad that the members had to say. My first impression was that the front end was sharp. The color in the sun was also sharp. The interior was a little better than the 24. Went inside and told him let’s make a deal. We went into his office and he handed me a piece of paper with me paying $ 7,500 difference and said Joe that’s a pretty good deal. For you it’s a good deal but I reached into my shirt pocket and gave him a piece of paper with $5,000 on it. I’ve got the title a 2 sets of keys with me. He says let me check with the sales manager and I’ll be back. I pulled in my garage at 12:30 with the 2025 lariat ruby red . Wow What a crazy 24 hours. 2 weeks later I would make that deal again. So far this is a nice truck. Love the slight rumble from the 2.0 . interior color is great and the new information screen is good. I would like to have a nice in my hand Owners Manual. Trotter 73. Ruby Red is listed in the Price and Build as metallic and costs $390. Looks super sharp so it may very well be worth it to those who appreciate it!!!!!

If you don't mind divulging, what was the approximate difference in MSRP's??

You’re right. I’ve got the windows sticker in my hands right now. I don’t see really good but I didn’t see much metallic but the truck is sharp.

Is ruby red a metal flake?

The ruby red is a multi coat paint with small metallic flakes in it. We have it on our 2016 C-Max and it looks great on a sunny day and it is clean. Collision shops hate it trying to match it because of the extra steps and getting a exact match color and flakes. Standing back it looks regular up close you see the metallic.

I am outraged by this. I went to 5 yes 5 ford dealers and they all trested me like crap.

Nice! I ordered a Ruby Red Hybrid Lariat the first week of September, so I hope that I get mine soon!

Where are you in Florida. I bought 2 mavericks and a Bronco Sport from Palm Coast Ford in 2024 and have been very happy with them and treated very well. If it is not too far a drive check them out. Also they have lifetime oil changes and lifetime powertrain warranties on every new Ford. If you need further don't hesitate to reach out.
