I am a child of the 1970’s. All the street rods had Cragar Mags back then. I am thinking going “Old School” to upgrade my Steelies on my Velocity Blue XL. What do you think?

Offset will be your issue. I was on same thought line and contacted about a set of Torque Thrusts II’s for my maverick, and they shot me down lol.

If you find some that will fit please let me know. Cragars are great as are alot of older style wheels. Modern wheels to me are either boring enough for me to not notice or just plain bad.

I have been searching for options myself. No luck yet.

I grew up in the 70s and 80s. I remember Centerlines as well as Cragar

Unfortunately the Maverick FWD/AWD won’t take wheels made for rear drive vehicles. Torque Thrust Ds we’re my favorite 😊

I always liked the Cragar Keystone rims.

At one point, Cragar was making a FWD series. Looks like those have long been discontinued unfortunately. Otherwise these would have worked perfectly... 17x7 +40 offset 5x108(4.25) bolt pattern

I'm imagining those 17x7 Cragars paired with a thick set of 255/60R17 Toyo Proxes would look pretty good. A hybrid of new school street truck tire and old school Cragar wheels. It's a shame the wheels are probably impossible to find now.

Like the style, but like someone reminder me, smaller diameter rims may hit the calipers,,,so keep that in mind.[/QUOTE]

I'm also interested in Cragar SS wheels. A timeless classic.
