Ok Ford give me a cheap truck!

After my dealer changed my order number while doing my rollover I never got my promised 02 priority. So today when the memo came out I changed my order. I changed my hybrid xlt black appearance package cp360 to a plain old shadow black xl with 360. With my private offer it will come to around 20 grand. I will put nice wheels on it myself. After 14 months of getting screwed around I want my truck but I don’t want the dealer or Ford to make a nickel more than minimum. I really didn’t need a hybrid anyway because I’m retired and won’t put over 6 thousand miles a year on the truck. My wife just got a 2023 CRV last weekend and I will probably be driving that more than the Maverick.

I'm highly considering swapping my Mav for a 2023 hybrid touring CR-V. The value of my Mav on a trade-in is still higher than what I paid. If I can get a good lease deal, it's adios Maverick.

I dont know if cruise is available on xl this year but if not i would go for the xlt.i would also get the 100 $ trailor hitch .well worth the money compared to buying aftermarket.thats what i got and very pleased with it.just a suggestion from one retired old man .

My 23 ordered XL EB with CP360, Hitch, & spare is scheduled for production. It can be done. Plus your dealer should have you at a lower priority if you have a rollover.

Best your dealer can do is give you a 10 priority. Only Ford can set it to 02, which is only done once they start looking at it for scheduling. And since you were a rollover that would most likely have been fairly soon. Changing from XLT to XL actually moved you to a more constrained truck.

And (I might be wrong on this) but I think changing engine types moves your order date from the original to when the change was made. I'm not sure you did yourself any favors with this move.

Well….. I have been waiting for a truck since Oct 10 of last year. I was scheduled and got canceled. I was promised by Ford that I would be a priority 02 after my rollover to model year 23. My dealer decided to change my order number from R644 to 644R. Ford therefore can’t recognize my order as a rollover. Because of that they never gave me priority 02. Now everyone else is getting scheduled and I’m not. The dealer refuses to admit they made a mistake and won’t help rectify it. Ford has no one to appeal it to other than customer service, who are clueless. At this point I just thought I couldn’t get anymore fucked than I am …. So why not shake it up a little! At least they will make a lot less on my truck.

Cruise comes on the 2024+ LT. I have one.. I hate the factory alloy wheels and bought aftermarket nice shiny spokes.($752 out the door- Discount Tire) My LT that I bought from about 40 available middle September on Dealer Lots in Metro Detroit; Has Copilot 360 (thumbs up) but not trailer hitch.. I found a 2024 Bronco open box hitch for $27 and put that on with some engineering (3/4 inch spacers + drilling). BUT the tail light wiring.. these $50-70 no splice wiring harnesses with the electronic module.. THEY DO NOT WORK.... You get no turn signal- no brake on the trailer with trailers with LED taillights, not enough current draw. I farted around with 2 before I borrowed my buddies old boat trailer with incandescent bulbs. The tail light module works with good old light bulbs not LEDs. My LED light trailer works on my buddys truck and on my GMC 2500HD but not the maverick.

So if you can get the factory hitch for $100 GET IT!!!. Cause it's all ready wired.
