Oil change at dealer with oil additive?

24,000 miles. I've never rotated my tires once on my FWD Maverick. The sky hasn't fallen. Seems like a lot of over dramatization about it

Huh? Rotating the tires is still recommended for all Maverick drivetrains. It's right there in the manual.

you better hope they are worn the same,tire rotations are among the biggest snake oil going(btw always put the best tires on the front(MO) the back tires are along for the ride.

You act like tire rotations cost money. It's not exactly "snake oil" if I can easily do it myself, and everywhere I have ever bought tires from locally will do it for free. Anyway, want to know the best way to "keep the wear the same?"

If you're hung up on the tire diameter differences on AWD vehicles, it's about the relative discrepancy between axles, not which particular axle it's on.

And no, most large shops like Costco do NOT put the best tires on the front - because they want you to understeer, not oversteer.

I love oversteer its fun would sooner skid then plunge, most places around here charge to rotate tires I have so many techs screwing up something when they are messing with the tires back in the day the rotor jump was expected,one things rotation can do it can give you 4 bad tires and cover up up a condition that should be addressed,a few extra thousand miles on well worn tires is not worth it to,me btw if I have a blowout I would sooner not have it on the rear rather then being pulled into approaching traffic I have driven many different types of vehicles and have experienced many things,if you are that fastidious and have the time and equipment by all means rotate! I have around 30K on the new "Blackburn's" I had installed on my Maverick on the "vision" wheels and they look fine and drive fine each to their own"caveat emptor"

One thing rotation can do it can give you 4 bad tires and cover up a condition that should be addressed.

Exactly my thoughts, I’d rather budget for two tires at a time and more importantly be able to identify suspension problems by looking at the tire’s tread wear.
I don’t often wear out my walking shoes, but when I do, I check for even wear to make sure my hips, knees, and feet are aligned.

Yes, I experience this with my Service Writer at Ford. I asked for "The Works" oil change and tire rotation and was invoice for a fuel system cleaner on my' 25 Maverick with less than 20k miles. They claimed it was a required service. Bull!

I buy Marvel Mystery Oil and use it as cologne.... 🥸

Forgot all about Marvel Mystery Oil. Back when I owned a 2 stroke SAAB (late 60's/early 70's), the SAAB dealer I used, used it as the transition oil. lol
