Buscher’s (MTC sponsor) has both types of oil catch cans. I went with the closed system to help the intercooler keeping clean and using high tier gas to help against carbon build up.

So which is it? Is the bottom side safe to install a catch can on? I see most people installing one on the "clean" side, the top side. Is that just because those are the cheaper ones you find on Amazon? I have no plans to install in both spots, I just want whatever will benefit the most and I assume that is the PCV side.

I've always had NA engines before, so this is a first for me.

The bottom one is the best spot. Whichever one you get make sure it has several diffusers. I have UPR catch cans on mine.

Thanks! I got the J&L one.

I'm familiar with those clips so here is hoping I don't break any lol. I think I might buy an OEM replacement hose just in case. Here is a walkthrough:

Does that one look decent? I can't find the UPR one, but I'm assuming it's the same as the Bronco with the 2.0?
