Portage lakes hereFinally picked mine up from Chapman today. 400 mile drive home was great! I’m in the Akron area. Not sure how many others are around though. I know of 1 near Massillon, and my local dealer sold 1.

Gillingham in Parma. Been dealing with them forever.Awesome! What dealership did you go through? I gave up on my order through Ganley after months of no progress and a lucky find on another dealers lot.
Love Germain BeavercreekDealer experience:
Picked mine up at Germain in Beavercreek last night (arrived 8 days before the 1 week window ford provided as ETA). Honored the invoice pricing agreed upon when ordering, usual $250 doc fee and $35 for tag, nothing else. Even offered me 100 bucks more than the highest offers I had on my trade before counting the tax credit even, but selling privately to a coworker. Truck was ready at specified time, was in and out in under 2 hours including a test drive, trade valuation, warranty spiel in the finance office, and quick demo of the truck. One of my easier dealer transaction experiences, and quite positive overall.
Initial truck review:
Only got about 50 miles on it so far (9 when picked up), but coming from owning only cars and mostly sporty or luxury brand ones, I am happy with it. It's definitely cheap plastic everywhere and a cheap vehicle compared to what I'm used to, but it's well done and not offensive in any way. Significantly better than other cheap cars I've been in. The B&O audio is not on BMW H/K level, but its 85-90% of it, good enough. Road noise is reasonable, I can hear the wildpeaks a bit on the highway and when turning through a roundabout a bit. The adaptive cruise and lane centering is pretty neat, got me most of the way to work without steering input or gas/brake on the highway. Remote start with auto turning on heated seats and wheel is pretty slick, but the wheel gets almost too hot compared to my BMW which gets warm and stays comfortable. Overall, my initial impression is quite good even knowing I bought heavily loaded 38k example of a 20k truck.
I ordered from Germain of BC as well (Hybrid on 6/30). Sales person is Drake, who has been pretty good with communication and easy to work with. I had been dreading the thought of if they would try to pull any ADM stuff once the truck actually arrived, or honor the purchase agreement with the invoice price. So I'm very glad to hear that they honored your price and didn't play any games that I don't want to play.Dealer experience:

Drake was my salesperson as well. He sent me texts and emails at each status update shortly after I had already got the email from ford. I tracked my truck through the palsapp and notified him that I wanted an ETA on the pre-delivery inspection before he notified me they had the truck in, but I was on top of it though. I was happy with each person I interacted with. I was worried about potential fees after reading a sour reddit post about this dealer on a Bronco, but I'm guessing that customer was potentially not telling the full story.I ordered from Germain of BC as well (Hybrid on 6/30). When you say they offered you $100 more than any other offers, what are you referring to? Offers from Carvana, Vroom, or like from other local dealers?
Sweet!!! Getting the Maverick alone should cure your Covid!!! Take care!!Well! What a week! Finally picked up 12/14 morning, without a hitch. Bob Gillingham Ford in Parma. Been working with them for years! Mr. Gillingham himself was there, he seemed as excited as me I was picking up the Maverick. Went straight to Discount Tire and had Cooper Discover AT3 4S, 235-65-17’s put on! They look great. Gonna put the 225 OEM’s on FB market place and see what I can get for them. Woke up Wednesday morning with the worst sore throat and confirmed Covid on Friday. So I have been vegging since then. Feeling a bit better each day. Ordered all my leds to replace the incandescents. Bakflip X4 and mudflaps here and ready to go on when I’m up and about. Pics to follow as soon as I can!
Thanks. To bad the weather is not warmer. Just got the body side decals. Had them made in dark gray to complement the oem rims. Thinking about doing the chrome on tailgate and maverick letters in same gray come warmer weather next spring.Sweet!!! Getting the Maverick alone should cure your Covid!!! Take care!!
So how long from the email saying built to being shipped? How will I track it via railcar and then truck? Any help is appreciated
My build started 10/27, built email 11/12, shipped email 11/15, delivered at dealer 12/8. Never was able to track on rail car but did pick it on auto transport out of Wayne Mi.So how long from the email saying built to being shipped? How will I track it via railcar and then truck? Glad to hear you had a good experience with Germain. I have an XL Hybrid through them being built in February and was nervous about them trying to ask over the agreed price. I think my salesperson is Sarah, I've only dealt with her over the phone and text but she seemed nice.Dealer experience:

Reason I ask is build date was 12/9 12/16 completed and 12/18 being shipped. Just wondered how long it will take?My build started 10/27, built email 11/12, shipped email 12/15, delivered at dealer 12/8. Never was able to track on rail car but did pick it on auto transport out of Wayne Mi.
