XLT Hybrid + Co-Pilot360, Cabin 120V/400W outlet, Sliding Rear Window, Hard Drop-In BedlinerBeen wondering how the temporary order halt will affect supply and demand and valuations. Thought it would be neat to start a running thread. If you get an official offer to buy your truck, tell us about it.
Be sure to include trim level and major options, maybe original MSRP, mileage, general location, company making the offer, and price. I’ll start.
XLT AWD 4K tow, MSRP just under $29k, 2800 miles, NC…last week Vroom offered $27k and Carvana offered $30k.
DFW area
Current 5/29/22 Carvana offer is $34,889 with 1439 odometer miles
MSRP price was $24,620 but I paid 1.8% under at $24,174. Total Out-the-Door price was $26,068 that included $1,551 in sales tax, $150 doc fee and $193 in other state fees.
So Carvana's offer is $8,821 over my Out-the-Door price or $10,269 over MSRP.
My previous Carvana offers were $32,974 on 5/2/22 and $31,196 on 4/13/22 so the current offer has increased by $3,693 in just 1.5 months.
If these inflated prices hold I plan to order a MY2023 Maverick XLT Hybrid and sell my current Maverick XLT Hybrid and use the proceeds from that sale to lower my cost by over eight thousand dollars.
