My Maverick was built 9-20 and on the rail since 10-17 originally the railcar had a delivery eta of 11-3 and has been sitting in Louisville KY since Monday. I was told the train will drop the truck at the Shelbyville KY yard with is sort of close to my local dealership in Kentucky as well. Tuesday I received a email from Ford with a month longer eta to 12-4 saying :
"To ensure your complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your 2022 Maverick XLT is delivered to **** Ford."
Why would I receive this email? Is it a randomly generated email or is something up with the rail or a new recall ?
