I use to do all my oil change. Have all the tools, jack, stands, drain pan, filter wrench, rags, etc. But with age creep, soon to be 78, it’s tough to get up off the ground. All the $ I saved now goes to “others” who change oil. But I keep a watch in them.
Feel your pain. But At 70 I can't do these things anymore. Sucks

Like a lot of members here I am shocked the dipstick wasn't pulled. My oil change shop just before they hand me the bill the tech pulls the dipstick, looks at it, calls another tech over to look at it to confirm, and then shows it to me! The biggest mistake made at oil change shops is overfilling. And it can cause some BIG problems.
