Yeah but Im paying $33,000 before discount for a XLT Tremor. A canopy, a hatch, some glass(or better yet paneled), and some interior bits should be a lil less than $48,000.Capability comes at a price.

Glad you loved it but you were one of only a few. Sales topped at 30k in year 1, never got better. Terrible for a unique platform. We had a Flex and loved it. Great road car. Excellent tracking, plenty of room and reliable. Shame Ford stopped production.
50 more horsepower, 5300lb towing capacity, better departure angle, foglights, provisions for auxilliary lights, standard CP360 and CP360+, 360 degree camera...Yeah but Im paying $33,000 before discount for a XLT Tremor. The Edsel was a bust, too. Often times the public does not appreciate a great automobile.Glad you loved it but you were one of only a few. Sales topped at 30k in year 1, never got better. Terrible for a unique platform.
The hp is negated by weight, the towing capacity is nice but not necessary, all the the 360 things except the camera are 100% unnecessary, and lights are cool, and departure angle is nice. But I highly doubt the Timberline will be better offroad than the Tremor. Its heavy and wide. 2 things that do not help in the environments they are capable of entering.50 more horsepower, 5300lb towing capacity, better departure angle, foglights, provisions for auxilliary lights, standard CP360 and CP360+, 360 degree camera...
Less back seat, more bed. (SuperCab Ranchero)So this is something I have been hoping to see from the auto industry for ages and maybe it'll happen or maybe it won't. My guess is likely not but here we go.
After seeing some Mavericks equipped with bed toppers, what would your interest be in something Maverick sized but as a fully enclosed SUV/wagon. More rear seat room but same overall length. I ask this because Subaru has had firm grip on this category for ages, I would include Volvo, Mercedes and Volkswagen but they all pale in comparison to Outback numbers. Personally, I would love to see Ford take a stab into that market and provide more options for people that want vehicles like that.
If you don't think it would work well, take the Bronco for example and it going head to head with the Wrangler. Another car that has been largely unopposed for years.
Ohh heeeelll yeah! 6" wb stretch, 1' cab push, 6' bed. Jumper seats and suicide rear doors. Now thats a Maverick worth lowering. I dont really like 4doors lowered that dont have a Lincoln or Cadillac badge on em. Even sweeter if it had a 2.3 6spd MT.Less back seat, more bed. (SuperCab Ranchero)
