Since people have been murmuring about it all over the place, I thought we should just start a thread and talk about it.

When the 2023 production started scheduling, we have had a weekly thread with the current constraints listed. Originally FHEV (Hybrid) motor was listed as a constraint. It was on the list every week until the last 3 weeks. This week is the same. Not listed.

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...eks-3-20-4-17-current-constraints-list.27376/

People have been wondering if this means it's no longer constrained. Discuss.

And just in case they wanted to weigh in: @fordvideoguy @Ford Motor Company

That list of constraints is relative to what they've allocated. Something dropping off that list simply means that they're able to build as many as they wanted to. Not that they have altered the production mix.

Maybe they are going to go full speed and build all the Hybrids they have parts for and when they run out say they are done for the year, that way people will know.

Or Not.

This is way to logical. No way that’s gonna happen.

I think to help answer that question we would need a new restriction summary. See if they changed the 35%

They will build all the hybrids they intended to build, 35% of mix.

So on the live stream last night @fordvideoguy answered my question. Basically, no. :(

It is not a constraint within itself as Ford seems to be with 5% of their hybrid scheduling goals to date.

Yeah, that’s what he said; I was just saying in basic terms “no it doesn’t mean that there will be more hybrids produced“

Ford will build the number of hybrids it needs to meet the average milage requirements for their total sales. They have no desire to build more, regardless of the number of orders.
