Friday we had clouds and rain, but the clouds thinned enough that a 30 sec exposure showed some glow. I included a picture of the sun showing the sunspots that were the cause of the auroras. When the clouds finally cleared on Saturday night I was able to get some deep space photography done.

Difficult to make out but we're on the bed of the Maverick in the foreground there. Probably a little softer where we are but still really beautiful.
