Non-Lariat Lighting Question

I notice in some Maverick YouTube videos that some models have running lights in combination with the turn signals in the front. I'll assume this is a XL/XLT thing, as my Lariat does not do that, turn signal only.

Can anyone with an XL/XLT confirm this is so?

Not sure what you are talking about ? I have a XLT Hybrid I have added DRLs and all LED lights outside including Turn Signals. My Running lights are white and Turn Signals are amber . Here some pics not good but hope it helps

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of drls are are those? How did you install them? They look awesome! I have an XLT coming and I ordered some drls but they don't run across the grill like that, at least I don't think so.

I got mine from mr boom . Right at 150.00 $ There are other ones out there for about half the price . Like two random scrubs I think they're called. Very easy to install and have had alot of nice compliments on them especially the owner of the dealership I got my Maverick from. I got mine from mr boom . Right at 150.00 $ There are other ones out there for about half the price . Like two random scrubs I think they're called. Very easy to install and have had alot of nice compliments on them especially the owner of the dealership I got my Maverick from. Out of curiosity did your initial set also fail? I see the first pic has the shorter ones and then you're sporting the later, longer ones.

Stock they are all amber, just like the Lariat. Some people buy what they call switch back lights to get the white when the turn signal is not on. When I upgraded my XLT to LEDs I just got the amber kit that Lasfit said was for the Lariat, because I didn't care much for the switch back, after seeing one in person. The white just doesn't match the stock headlights and looks strange.

Yes they did the one side never did work I contacted Mr boom and it took a while they finally did send me a second set but not the same ones I originally bought. I liked the smaller set a lot better but I was tired of fighting and arguing with them they have no phone and everything is over email with them and I just put the bigger set on but much rather have the smaller set because that's what I originally ordered and bought and the one side that did work looked better then the big set.

That would be awesome! I did get MrBoom's DRLs. I'm not too familiar with wiring, I won't lie to you. I have installed my own radio on a 10 year old car, but never messed with a brand new one lol. I don't have my truck yet, but would it be okay to email you when I do? I plan to install the lights as soon as the truck arrives. Did you add the Lasit LEDs with the grill lights? Again, thank you and enjoy the mav! Looks sick!

I would be very happy to help you I believe I still have the install instructions. Its easy to put them on . The kit has everything you need. Mrboom has a install video that helps a lot also you might watch it before we install the DLRs and yes I bought a full set of LEDs for my Maverick from Lasfit also very easy to install also hardest ones are the Amber front side markers but everybody is doing them wrong it's very easy to do I watched a video on YouTube how to install them I bought me a small plastic pry bar set from harbor freight and I had it in and out 5 minutes probably even less but again I will be happy to help you. Merry Christmas to you not sure where you live but be safe the weather is just getting ready to hit here in Tennessee.
