Noise/Growl from rear when accelerating from a stop

Every time I pull away from a stop I get a noise and slight vibration from the rear end. I'm scheduled at the dealer to investigate but wondering if anyone else had had this issue and if so, what was the cause?

I assume you have AWD and I have a '25 AWD Lariat with only 4K miles and I've had a similar issue with turns at slow speeds which has progressively gotten worse. The dealer looked at it a couple weeks ago and they thought the RDU would need to be replaced. Waiting on a return call from them, not happy with this dealer as they're not communicating well. There are several other reports of this same issue on this forum you can look up. I changed the RDU fluid/oil per recommendations here which did not resolve the issue. Please post what your dealer's diagnosis is. Hope this helps.

Thanks sme1974. My Maverick has about 120K kms and it's possible that I only experience the issue when I'm turning and accelerating. I'll pay more attention to that. I'll let you know what the dealer says.
