No email from Ford

So my dealer has been good so far. Got the build sheet with the order number, signed and returned. So my understanding is that is in Ford's computer. I got a random email from Ford, but have not seen an email confirmation from Ford others are sharing. Doesn't his mean they haven't finalized, or am I overthinking?

They did enter me as priority 10, so don't want to piss them off for sure.

I'm in the same boat. Got the order sheet from my dealer this morning. Order sheet said it went in at 11:30 a.m. Eastern. Didn't get the e-mail. Contacted them to confirm. They said the order was definitely entered. But, still no e-mail 8 hours later. Worried & would definitely feel much better with the e-mail.

I got an email 5 minutes after leaving my dealership from Ford Motor Company titled “Your 2023 Maverick XLT Order” (around 5:15 on the 15th) and an email from [email protected] today titled Order Summary for Order 9002

This has been an issue since the Mav was introduced last year. It's up to the dealer to add your email address to the order so you get updates from Ford. Some do it some don't.

I haven't seen any email. I'm not going to sweat at the moment if it's OK, my dealer has me at priority 10 so I'm in good shape there. But just want to make sure it's not some giant red flag.

Correct. I didn't ask for any specific order priority. I don't know if they have any roll overs, they aren't acting like it. But they could. In either case correct no 2022 and what I have seen so far has me at 10.

I’m at 24 hrs no email still and my dealer says they put my order from JULY 1st in. Facepalm. Never have I once got any kind of email. I’m going into my dealer in the morning.

I’m not upset with you. Hell, I’d ask for it if I were putting in a new order. I just can’t believe that Ford is going this route. Essentially they’re going to blame dealers for not prioritizing orders correctly, but they could’ve gone with a different system…

So I got an email from the sales manager. In addition for a form showing OTD price for the order, he confirmed I would get a confirmation from Ford in next 24 hours

I think they didn't order the truck until this evening. To avoid me complaining since they can tell I am up to speed they gave me priority 10 to appease me... With that and a dual signed OTD price I feel pretty good.

My email was submitted on my ‘22 and ‘23 orders. Got a confirmation email in less than an hour on the ‘22, but none so far on the ‘23. No rhyme or reason for Ford

I received my email this morning. It wasn't there first thing but came just before 10AM. A coworker who had ordered an '22 last year told me his came the next morning, so I didn't get too worried about it, I knew there were already a few orders waiting to be input before mine, and the system was going very slow as it was probably bogged down some. I have my confirmation, so that's all I was hoping for at this point. Now the waiting begins, and I expect it will be quite some time.
