Emailed my dealer today because I'm an annoying pests who bugs this lady constantly with questions about when my truck will be ready.

She said that the trucks produced and just waiting to be realeased for shipping. She said fingers crossed it should be shipped in a week or two.

Which is awesome and way quicker then I'd ever anticipated. But I'm keeping myself from getting overly optimistic because I haven't gotten and email from Ford saying it's going into production yet. Still doesn't show up under my ford account in the reservations/orders portion.

Anyone else experience this?

Maybe she’s talking about a stock unit for their training?

No hate, but I highly doubt your truck is already built when everyone is getting scheduled for September build dates so far.

She needs to get retrained on vehicle ordering processes or they’ll have a mob of pissed off Maverick owners looking for answers in person.

When you annoy sales people enough they eventually will just start telling you what you want to hear to get you to stop calling. I do it all the time.

yes. I just lie to them same as this lady did. :ROFLMAO:

Seriously now, there is a step by step process for production in 1 of these threads (might be the dealerinsider updates, but I'm too busy to find it for you)- have you printed that out so you can follow along instead of relying on emails to the sales person? Did you get your VIN yet? Are you getting a hybrid (eCVTs aren't even built for those yet). Did you have any of the "constrained items" in your build?

No reason get all worked up about this. It's a brand new vehicle being built on a new production line and there's some known delays built in (and probably more that haven't announced yet). It will be ready when it's ready ....

She emailed me back to let me know she was wrong and she had me confused with another customer she had with an Explorer.

I thought it was weird as she gave me a VIN# and everything.

She corrected herself before I pressed her, so I don't think she has we lying, just got confused.

I knew it was too good to be true. 🤣
