No BAP w/FX4 :(

You guys I am seeing lots of pics on here with the Black Appearance Package and I love it!! But I am sad you cannot get that with the fx4 package. Soo my hot pepper red xlt luxury + tow + fx4 I am still waiting on will be navy blue :/

If it makes you feel any better, even the trucks with the BAP are still navy blue... The only change you would see from a regular Lariat to a BAP Lariat, is the seats would be an all black leather, and where there are brown/bronze accents, those would be black. All the navy blue plastic pieces are the same throughout every trim and package.

Only thing I’m aware of is the tow hooks
The drive modes and lower bumper piece can be added later
And the stickers too I suppose
Well and skid plates…..
And some different buttons

Now I’m kinda annoyed you couldn’t combine them, I guess you’d just have to go Tremor for BAP and FX4 to be together sort of

With Tremor basically being a BAP FX4 with additional off-road goodies, I dont see the need. What is the cost of FX4 and BAP....does that equal the Tremor cost?

Unless they actually need the 4k towing capacity which kind of crosses off the Tremor.

Different shocks and the upgraded instrument cluster for the XLT as well.

$550 to go from BAP FX4 to Tremor, which does get you some additional upgrades while ineligible for 4k tow and lowering fuel economy, etc.

FX4 + BAP == $800 + $1,645 == $2445

Tremor == $2,995 (or $550 over BAP FX4)

I never understood why they couldn't add it to FX4. The only thing that is different I believe are the wheels, which are both black anyways. They can just override and put the FX4 wheels on. Just Ford being Ford.

It seems ridiculous that you can't combine them. I probably would have added it if I could have when I ordered. Kinda glad I didn't now after seeing how little it really does to the interior. The FX4 wheels look way better so just make it so when combined the FX4 wheels override the others. They should have made the FX4 decals with BAP the grey/black ones like I've seen on this forum to keep with the black out theme. Would have been slick.

Except the FX4 package comes with the standard hitch, so most likely if OP specifically mentioned tow, they were meaning the 4K tow.

Don't worry - us Tremor/BAP folks still have the Navy blue interior as well.

Ya makes it easy for assembly line to just grab what supplies they need per package
