You have my sympathy. Lived in Kissimmee from 1984 to 2005. Charlie, Frances, Ivan and Jeane convinced us to leave. I hate hot, muggy weather. Wife loved it . . . until the four hurricanes in one season!

Can you tell if the a/c compressor is turning on? double check to see if a fuse it out, something simple you can help yourself out. I certainly wouldn't be able to put up with that southern heat & no ac.:cry:

I just had that issue, on 14th April, mine stopped blowing cold air, ended up being a bad AC hose. Took it in on the 15th, Service manager at Mac Hait in Desoto, TX told me their service shop was closed for new work, to "take it someone where else". I complained to Sale guy who sold me my truck, he got my truck in to be looked on the on the 26th of April, that is when they said it was bad AC line, wanted me to leave with them, claiming part would be in about 2-3 days.

Told them I would pick up my truck and bring it back in when part came in. Service manager said if I did that they would move me to end of the line. They got part in on 29th April, but they did not officially tell me until 1st May, and then sched work for 3rd May.
I took in the evening before, they did not even even move it into the bay to work on till end of the day on the 3rd an even then did not finish it until 3:45PM on the 4th. This was suppose to be a less than 90 min repair job.

I feel like such an idiot for buying all those extended warranties and such when they delay and then just shrug off my complains on why it took so long. Are my expectation to high for what customer service should be?

My Aunt has a 2005 Cadillac SRS, when she needs maintenance on her car she call her service rep at Sewell Cadillac , they driver her out a loaner car and pick hers up, even for normal maintenance. They don't delay or brush her off or leave her stranded without a means of transportation. To me that is customer service!

Maybe if Ford dealerships did something like that their customers would be a lot less angry at them

Okay your dealer is likely to recognize you. Is there another in about a 30 mile radius? So fill a hair spray (empty preferred) bottle with water and spray your face and hair (do not forget the pits) just before you drive into their lot and say that the AC ain't working...You're getting a bit dehydrated and dizzy... what can THEY do? I'll bet you a dollar to a donut they will find a solution.

They did not like my survey on the service I received and tried to guilt me into filling a new one giving them a review. Saying you are sorry, does not justify changing my review, better service next time will, maybe

I will close by asking again, if you feel that you can not give a satisfied response to the Ford follow up survey that you will receive, then I would ask that you consider not filling out the survey for the sake of those employees that performed their jobs correctly are not penalized by the actions of one.
