2025 Lariat Hybrid AWD with tonneau and bed extender, tow package, no moonroof, carbonized gray, ordered 8/5/24, took delivery 1/18/25, traded in a 2020 Escape Hybrid AWD with the same power train. (Why it took Ford 4 years to make the hybrid AWD available in the Mav is beyond me.) Like the truck, especially its 19" wheels, not wild about the blue/tan interior. Already getting more than 40 mpg, as expected from experience with the Escape (averaged more than 44 mpg). Now focused on accessorizing. Have added bed/tailgate mats, waiting on Ford to post my points for floor mats, added rubber scuff strips to the door sills and plastic storage inserts for the door handles, center console and arm rest. Have mud flaps and wheel arches to add but am hesitant. Anyone installed the arches? Do they hold up, create any problems, whatever? Thanks for your feedback.

Mud flaps are a good move, I'm not so sure on the arches unless you are going to put on wider wheels n tires, thereby having the arches protect the sides of the vehicle from flying stones/dirt/sand/salt/water/etc. I've heard of them holding in water n salt, speeding up body decay. Just have heard that, no actual personal experience.

IMHO had experience with the Arches/Flares. Up here in the Salt Belt, they DO collect water/salt.
Which accelerates wheel well rusting...

It's pretty dry most of the time here in northern California and the State prohibits using salt on the roads, so maybe not a problem? How about the mounting tapes de-laminating?

The search under "fender flares" was helpful and thanks again, Curtis. Didn't see a lot of negatives, so plan to go ahead with installing mine. Since I'm pleased and proud of having a Hybrid AWD, I ordered and today installed a factory tailgate badge for a 2024 Escape that says "Hybrid AWD." Looks professional, very pleasing. After installing the flares and factory floor mats (as soon as my rewards points get posted!) I think I'm done with accessories.
