Hi all,
I'm about to pull the trigger on a used 2025 Lariat (5,000 mi) that lists 2 issues. One is an open recall that I'm sure Ford will cover, but the other has me wondering, why would a vehicle need a second Title??

My only advice is to get your finger off the trigger until you completely understand the title issues & the acceptable OTD price.

I can't explain why two titles would be necessary either. Something just doesn't seem right.

Personally, I would be very Reserved in purchasing until Carmax explains the title issue and could provide some backup proof of what their telling you is Fact. I would also want to see a detailed CarFax Report. Might not hurt to get the vin # and check with a local ford dealers service dept to see of any history.

It all maybe legit in the end and that would be good. But it's on You to do your due diligence prior to purchasing.

I'm not familiar with why there's a need for a 2nd title? Could it be a Ford Buyback, Lemon Law, Salvage Title

As the old saying goes: Cover Your Ass
