New WAZE directions on cluster with sync 4 and CarPlay?

hmm. i can't speak for waze, but apple maps gives me directions on sync4a in my escape. both on the digital instrument cluster and the HUD. i'm assuming it would on the maverick as well, but someone with their vehicle will have to chime in here.

On my 2025 the turn by turn directions from Apple maps shows on the top of the center display.

I am going to try Waze.

Apple Maps works.

Waze 5.4.2.0 does not. No update available in the Apple store. This is the latest version, just tried it out.
