Totally agree with Cherokee.

I bought my truck slightly used. The original owner installed clincher rims and Toyo Wild Country A/T tires. Love this setup.
It’s time for replacement and I’m going with the same. The tires are a bit pricey but I no longer require two sets of rims and eight season dedicated tires, not to mention the bi-annual change over PITA.
As far as MPG goes, my previous vehicle was a Dodge Hemi Charger with a high octane tune.

I still suffer from PTSD everytime I pass a gas station and realize I don’t need to stop!

Good question.

So the 235/55/19 in the Wildpeak Trails only comes in a XL load.

The 225/55/19 only come in the SL load.

The 235s were only 1.5 lbs heavier which pushed me to the 235s and XL load rating.

While I will rue the loss of efficiency it's something I knew was going to occur and I was ready for my Mav to be a little more truckish. I can't replace the AWD with the Advanced AWD system from the Tremor but I can improve the Hybrid AWD to at least be a F(au)X4
What about the speedometer? Is it also "off" and if so, by how much? the 235 is "only" about 1/2 inch larger in diameter overall.

Yep it is off. Have the afternoon today to try and adjust via Forscan.

I’m fairly certain that the default value is 225 (or 2250) so I’ll need to adjust slightly.

I went from 225/60/R18 Michelin primacy OEM 8.5/32" tread to continental true contact tour 54 tires in 225/60/R18 11/32" tread running at 37 psi and my speedo corrected to right on from the 2 mph low of the primacy tires.

But both of those are the same size same height regardless of tread design, right ?

The new ones had 11/32" tread the OEM were down to 3/32" so there would be 1/4" in difference in rolling radius at time new tires were installed. I was pointing out that my new 225 were dead on MPH per gps but the 235's at 29.1/29.2" diameter should be off. Depends on tire pressure also, of course. The OEM primacy are 41 psi max and the conti tour 54 ore 51 psi max rated. I also inflated tour 54's to 37 psi. Generally speaking a 225 is an SUV 100H & a 235 is a heavier load rated (200-300lb) 102H and will weigh 3-4lbs more. I almost went with 235 tour 54 but weight and additional rolling radius registered NO.

Tire pressure changes of a few psi changing tire circumference?
I doubt that.

I doubt it also but notification that I did it. I did not measure both circumferences. The tour 54's had new originally deeper tread possibly have slightly larger rolling radius excluding tread. Also possible one of Fords software updates changed the calculation. If I remember correctly I had one done close to time I bought the tires.

All I know is on my 2021 Bronco Sport
Going to 235 from the stock 225 seemed to Accurize my speedo.
Per the road side police speed indicators.
I ran my 2004 escape past it and with stock height tires I was running 3 mph over the speedo at 70.

We are going to drive about 198 miles tomorrow. Normally take two stops. I can set to "this trip" getting distance and time for each leg, then compare to gps. Truck time and gps time should be the constant. Truck milage "slippage" to gps assumed more accurate should be variable.🤗

Extra lane changes can skew your data.
