Ill take some more, I plan on putting in the modular bed liner and getting some fender flairs
Nice XL, color “shines”!
Now for the mods to begin…. Many are very affordable and simple.

Good day, and welcome to the MTC, @Cedict !

As the unofficial "door greeter" for the moment, I hope you get lots of good ideas and info as you browse the back-threads here.

And here is the door part...I am adding a photo below that indicates where the manual latch is for your manual door lock in relation to the door opening handle...many threads here about the driver door locking by itself!

They don't...just the lock-latch being pushed while the driver is pushing the door open.

Have a great day and a I hope you enjoy your new truck, it looks great!

Lol you aren't kidding. But most of the first mods are going to be stuff to protect it. Seat covers, looking at weathertech floor mats. Then I have a set of billiebars from my Sants Crus that I am hoping to be able to reuse

I've never done that in 3.5 years.
Plus it does not matter if you do.
There is no child lock on driver's door. Your child should not be driving.
I don't understand your post.

Welcome! I’m in Roseville. I take my Mav to Future Ford Sac for service. I’ve had good experiences 60% of the time every time.😜

Good day @Mavster Mechanic

My photo was to just show where the door's manual lock latch is located and how it can be easily depressed when pushing the door open.

There are many, many threads here regarding people who have suddenly found their driver (only) door locked on them.

It has been difficult on quite a few occasions, to get the explanation through to them how this has occurred.

My post was a greeting and preventive measure all in one. That was the idea anyways. (Ounce of prevention vs a pound of cure)

It hasn't happened to you in 3.5 years, and that is great to hear! But if it happens to you now, you know why.

Have a good one, and I hope this helped answer the reason for my post.

Andy

Any reason for ditching the Santa Cruz? You will have decent driving experience in both trucks soon. Once you have some time on the road, it may be nice to hear your opinion (neg & pos).
