Good day to all Have been following this forum for about 2+ years now and decided to join. No, do not own a Maverick yet. I have followed this trucklette since 2020/21 when it was still being designed. Tried to order the 2022 but missed the order window that lasted something like two weeks. Still in my trusty 05 Ranger with only 130k miles. Plan to purchase the Maverick sometime next year after I see the 28 redesign, then will decide between the 27 or 28. As of now would purchase the XLT with lux package. The ski-slopes are somewhat off a turn off so just waiting to see the 28. Thanks, have enjoyed the learning curve from those that own one of these great little trucks.

Hello and welcome to MTC. I look forward to reading and seeing your new Maverick, if it ever happens. Until then just enjoy the 05 Ranger and throw money in the bank for your new Maverick. FYI fair warning you are going to be pleased and enjoy a lot what that Ranger lacks. Then in some cases upset losing knobs and other things it will take time to get use to. Others like the remote shut off and a few others will continue to be PITA. Not trying to scare you the positives far outweigh the negatives. Glad to read you are still enjoying the 05 Ranger, it's obvious otherwise you would already be driving a Maverick. Hope you enjoy it as much as many here with their Mavericks. I know I do and have to restrict myself to just get in and drive it, trying to keep the mileage down. Anyway hello and welcome to MTC

Thank you much for the welcome and the information. I have about 20 minutes seat time in a 26 XLT with luv package. Turbo. It handled WAY better then my 4x4 ranger, kind of top heavy compared to the Maverick. Was quite also, though stereo SUCKED compared to the old Ranger. The lack of knobs is what turned me off actually, had to keep looking over to do the easiest things like change radio settings, air settings. I am use to not even looking over and simply using muscle memory and feel or all the setting. Other then that I would of bought right then. I decided to wait (unless I get impatient) to see the 28 model. With all the consumer pushback about lack of knobs maybe 28 will bring back knobs. Oh well, time will tell. Thanks again

LOL, I know the feeling, i got the Mav-itch now!!. I have build about 10 versions on ford.com. Really like the Tremor and have read here it's ride is smooth which is important to me because its a cruiser to the mountains (then off road) and Florida for me. 300 mi to mountains and 1,000 to Florida. But that price!! Ouch!!
