Yeah not all shops are like this but more than you want are. That’s a major reason why insurance premiums are going up. There are lots of missed things that are charged, tasks that never completed being charged. Sure there are good places too, when you find one be sure and use them, happy...
Yeah I worked at a body shop for about a year after retiring from the Navy. None of anything they do impressed me, all about a buck, they don’t care very much about your car. They inflate the repair hours and do a piss poor job, I’m just glad none of them were mechanics in the military.
I have the bedrug branded version, just the lower part and tail gate cover. My truck is velocity blue and didn’t wanna cover all the blue in the bed, too pretty. That model is only held in with double stick Velcro but seems very strong. The material itself is like a pad, I highly recommend it...
If it pours it will get a little water but I park in a garage 99% of the time. It’s a be drug brand liner, says it’s the same material they use on boats carpets so water isn’t an issue
I have the carpet liner and a tonneau cover, it’s made for a truck bed so it doesn’t mold, stays dry anyway. Really slick looking and could always throw a tarp down the 2 times a year it may get dirty.
Sure you could get various adapters and unions but I personally don’t see a need for one on a Maverick. The filter on the transmission that is already there is plenty for the truck.
I’ve had my velocity blue maverick for almost a year now, but it’s is missing its turbo fans, they aren’t the best looking but the truck needs them. Anyone looking to sell there’s let me know. I am in western North Carolina and am able to pick up any where east of the Rockies if the price is...
I’d recommend not getting the sliding rear glass, the solid one looks way better. I also hate to say it but don’t get the turbo fans, just look at them side by side. Just my two cents
