Yeah, that color drew me to her. It’s Lightning Blue. The last year they offered that color. I really miss that truck.

I bet the fender hole has something to do with quality checks on the assembly line. Hard to torque check those bolts otherwise.

There is some air that finds its way over there so a vent would allow it to exit.

So crazy thought? I am fine with the factory ones just not the chrome letters. Has anyone tried to zep these things like the tail lights? I was a bit nervous to try lol

Air design is the company that makes all the ford maverick's "OEM" body modifications. I made a thread awhile back listing all of them and the part numbers and I will link it below. You can buy the MABETT ones that will leak water into them and have condensation or buy the cheap eBay/amazon ones that will fall apart. These are expensive but are actually good quality.

I agree with all your comments about Mabett and eBay products, but 200 for a piece of 3D printed plastic? I do hope Mabett or someone makes a counterfeit. It would be a lot easier than making the light.
