I purchased this new type of dashboard cover. It’s not a Covercraft, WeatherTech, nor any other named brand cover. It’s not carpeted, suede leather, nor anything like that. I wanted something that is lightweight, breathable, and reduces dashboard glare. This cover is made of breathable mesh and has silicone dots underneath it to keep it in place. Most importantly, I can remove it and wash it if it gets dirty. I used Velcro strips to keep it in place. It did come with double sides squares, but they didn’t stick at all. I can tell you that it is a perfect fit. It’s just what I needed. The other fuzzy carpeted ones took me back to the ā€˜70’s, and I didn’t want that look.

And no, my seat covers aren’t a brand name either. They’re made by Dickies and only cost $35 for the front seats only. I have a waterproof pet cover over my back seat.
Thank you for posting this. I just bought the same cover and it is nice.

My new dash cover looks great.
I wanted something that looked as nice as the dash, while protecting it also.
Kudos to "RonR1959" for posting about this nice dash cover.
Because it comes rolled up
I covered it with a cotton flour sack towel (so as not to melt or scorch, it) and I steam ironed it flat first before I installed it. So far, I have not found the need for the sticky tabs.
That could always change.

And the awesome Mabett soft touch dash tray.

The problem seems to be that some members here have already experienced the dashes deteriorating and getting sticky/tacky to the touch. That's what I'm trying to prevent. Do search on "sticky dash".
When it is hot, the top of my dashboard gets sticky to the touch.
So much so, that when you try to clean it, lint sticks all over it. I even tried a supposedly lint-free towel to no avail. I did resort to using a lint roller to try and get the lint that's on the dash off. It did work to some degree.
That is why I bought a dash cover.

Just ordered the Mabbet dash tray, figured maybe it’ll help hold the dashboard cover in place a little.

I think you will find that it helps.
I also have the Mabett anti-rattle, soft touch dash tray.
Yes, with the molded front tab on it certainly helps hold my dash cover in place without having to use any double sided tape which is great.

We were in town this weekend to visit some friends and do some shopping at Sam's and I saw this dash cover I had to take a picture.
This thing's worse than Colombo's raincoat.
