Never received order confirmation.

Thanks for the info on how to get ahold of Ford, I orderd my rollover 24 Lariet the first day order banks oppened and never got a confirmation email. Called Ford today they looked up my order
and said everything looked fine, they had my correct email so they did not no why I did not
received conformation.. She also gave me a "Certificate number" she did not know what it
was for and to talk to dealer about it next time I go there. MY originl order was a Hybrid but changed it to a Tremor...

I called Ford customer service.. Again, they confirmed that I have an Order for a Maverick, but they are unable to tell you anything about the order (like how it was entered), nor can determine if a COVP has been submitted by the dealer, and of course they send you a DORA. Repeatedly I'm told to contact the dealer. I ordered remotely with the dealer on opening day, and then followed up in person 2 weeks later (this past Monday).

Am I being impatient to expect to see anything official from Ford that shows exactly what my order looks like?

Have you contacted the dealer like Ford said?

Stuff like the COVP is not a document that the buyer is expected to need nor receive, that's only between the dealer and Ford. SOME dealers will provide you that if you ask, but you should not expect to receive copies of that stuff.

If you have an order confirmation email and a preview order sheet from your dealer than you should be good. That's all most people have. Just start waiting now.

Dealer said Ford didn't like the emailing/printing/signing/scanning/emailing of the Preview Order Sheet that was necessary on 7/17 becuase I was away on a business trip (but they liked something becuase I got a generic Ford confirmation email later that day). So we did another signing of the Preview Order this Monday as I had finally returned home from the work trip over the weekend.

So the OrderPreview tells me that this is how Ford is going to build my Maverick? Can I be 100% that what Ford has is exactly what is on that Order Preview? I wasn't looking for COVP, only asking if it had been submitted with the order... which the customer service could not tell me. At what point do I find out it is CLEAN/Unscheduled? Does that come in the 45 day emails?

When you first made the order did the dealer ask you for a copy of your drivers license? It may seem trivial but that is one of the requirements that Ford mandates for COVP approval. It could be that Ford rejected the initial order becasue of this.

It could also be becasue you did everything remotely instead of in person at the dealership.. Hard to tell on this one.

So now onto the second paragraph.......MUCH more to unpack here.....

Yes the order preview tells you how Ford is going to build the truck you ordered.

No you cannot be 100% certain that what is on the order preview is what Ford received from your dealer. This is a leap of faith on your part and why it is crucial to choose a trust worthy dealer. It is solely up to the dealer to enter the order to Ford exactly how you want it.

Ford customer service cannot tell you whether or not an order has been CVOP'ed. Only your dealer can but it is up to the individual dealer to share that information with you.

Honestly man this whole process is a leap of faith. Ford customer service can only answer so many of your questions becasue they don't have dealer access. On the flip side dealers are reluctant to give customers this information.

It's frustrating for sure just ask the guys who have been waiting close to two years for their Mav. They contact Ford and Ford says ask your dealer and when they do the dealer puts the blame back on Ford......

I visited the dealer on June 23, about 3 1/2 weeks before Order Banks were open to copy my driver's license and sign anything I could ahead of time. The order spec taken from the MY2023 Order Guide, Package Guide, and Price List had been on file with them since Sep 24, 2022. We reviewed it again on June 23 and were happy with it... Then 7/17 occured and we saw lots of stuff dropping for XLT and switched to Lariat, but still largely in accordance with the original build. Dealer faxed a new MY2024 Preview Order and it looked fantastic. Signed that too... Ford didn't like it I guess... So signed it again, 7/31, in person, to resubmit to Ford.

But yeah, you are right.. with nothing coming back from Ford, guess I wont' be able to check anything for myself until I receive a VIN (and of course at that point, you really hope everything is correct but you are close to getting scheduled at that point). It's definitely a leap of faith.

I ordered a 2024 Maverick XLT from my local Ford dealership. I received a DocuSign from them to confirm my order, but I never received the order confirmation from Ford the dealership said I would receive o nice the received the order from the dealership. I questioned the salesman and he assured me the order was entered. Should I be concerned?

Yep, I got one from Ford but not telling me exactly what the dealer ordered.
