Nermal has arrived!!!!

My 2023 Maverick Tremor XLT with Luxury Package has finally arrived! I have named it Nermal.

I got a phone call from my salesman at McMullen Ford in Council Bluffs, IA on Monday that my Maverick had been been delivered and we arranged for me to come in on Tuesday to do the paperwork, etc. No more than 5 minutes after we hung up, he called back to say that it wasn't my Cactus Gray Maverick Tremor XLT that arrived but someone else's (lucky bastard). He said mine was still out another week or two. Oh, well.

Wednesday afternoon, my salesman called again. This time to tell me that my Maverick had indeed arrived at the dealership. I asked him if he was sure and he said he and another salesman verified the VIN before calling. We made arrangements to meet today. Papers have been signed and it is mine (and the bank's).

Delivery date: 9/28/23

McMullen honored the pricing from when I ordered and did not add any mark-ups to the sticker price. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the Omaha/Council Bluffs region.

Yeah ours is smoother than our big 96 Bronco. My brother actually did some design work on the shocks, they have a internal hydraulic bump stop of some sort. Hard to hit bottom in em.

My Nermal. I had adopted an orange tabby kitten (no, I didn't name him Garfield) and Nermal was his favorite toy. I lost Willey 5-1/2 years ago but I've kept Nermal next to his ashes ever since. But now he's gonna ride with me in my Maverick - he fits perfect in that little cubby hole next to the touchscreen.
