My Steeda swaybar was absolute garbage and broke in half

Glad this was posted. People roasting Steeda without knowing all the facts. Things break, manufacturing is not perfect.

Steeda's response to sending replacement was good, if the replacement breaks then you can roast them.

Hey all, just an update on this. My replacement bar did arrive, with a shipping label to send back the broken bar. There was no significant feedback from Steeda when I tried to get more of a discussion going. I did ask for a credit instead of a replacement but it was declined.

I already put the OEM bar back on and will not be installing the replacement. If this was a defect then it's pretty unlikely the replacement will have the same defect, but I also don't really feel like rolling the dice on it again.

If anyone wants to buy the replacement bar I will happily sell at a healthy discount.

Mine snapped in the exact same spot in 2023. I was pulling into a bad packing lot with a big ass dip then speed Hump. Called steeda and free replacement. I got to love lifetime warranty.

Yep, good catch. The new bar does not have the welded stops and has the bolt-on shaft collars instead. This is obviously a defect that has been corrected in the new design. I'm not super impressed that they would make it sound like it's an unexpected failure if they already know the old bars may snap in that location but at least they have updated the design.

Also I sold my Maverick this week so will be posting the replacement bar for sale.
