Thanks. Got the load number and destination dealership. Glad that’s right. The dealer is only about 5 miles away from the NS Poe yard. I think I’ll check in with them tomorrow.

@Wolfe Jet @larryhokie Thanks for the info. You both have been a great help in keeping tracking of the progress of our trucks' rail trips. And I too have the delivery load number. Hope you both get your trucks soon. I am sure your trucks will arrive before mine. Please post when they arrive at your dealers.

Spoke to my dealer today, he has an ETA on 11/2 :( so might be stuck at Poe all week.

Spoke to my dealer today, he has an ETA on 11/2 :( so might be stuck at Poe all week.
Stopped by my dealership. My contact Sales manager took the day off. Poe is about 6 miles from dealership. Other sales folks said they don’t know how it’s scheduled for delivery but “the guy” with the transport truck sometimes waits until he’s got a full load to pick up. Then one said that it could happen this week. 🤪

Hello again. I stopped by the dealership again today and I was able to speak with the sales manager. I explained that my Maverick was unloaded Sunday but had not moved since. He called his contact at the rail yard and gave them my VIN. After a conversation it was agreed that my Maverick would be delivered tonight or tomorrow. I’m happy to report that my Maverick is at the dealer now! Awesome.

Since the dealership is just a few miles away I stopped by to put my eyes on it.

Just picked my Lariat Hybrid up today also. Called sales rep yesterday and he had no idea when it was to be delivered. Today, one year from the day I ordered it, I drove it home! You are going to like this truck! Congrats!

@WolfeJet, @larryhokie: After reading MTC posts about trucks with side airbag recalls and not receiving a Ford recall notice, I checked my VIN on NHSA and Ford recall websites. It has an open recall on NHTSA website, but the Ford site shows no open recalls. Unable to interpret that info, today I called my dealer, who agreed to resolve the status next week. A MTC posting has an 8/8/2022 NHTSA Safety Recall Report 22V-594, which says (1) affected vehicles have production dates 2/3/2021 through 7/9/2022 and (2) a “stop ship” was issued at the Hermosillo plant on 7/12/2022. My truck data: built on 7/9/2022 (with a microchip hold) and shipment notice on 10/1/2022. I wonder if part of the delay was due to the “stop ship” order pending the airbag recall fix. Have either of you checked your VINs against the NHTSA and Ford recall websites or received a notice that your truck is affected by the recall?
@LastDog, we’re screwed. AGAIN.

Just got home from the dealer without my truck - got to drive it around their parking lot but FoMoCo won’t let them sell it to me until the airbag is fixed, and there is no ETA on the part being available. Looks like I get an extra special level of torture for this, as I’ll get to visit my truck in their lot for another few months.

Built on the last day of the recall window. FML. 🤬

Wolfe Jet. This really hurts as previously delivered trucks' owners are driving their trucks till their dealers get airbag parts while our trucks sit on dealer's lots awaiting airbag parts for who knows how many months. I called my dealer this morning; he cannot yet tell me when our truck will leave the Poe lot or when it will be delivered. He also is yet to answer my query about the potential airbag delay for our truck.
