The fridge sits right next to the water tank in the rear on the top deck - it just wasn't in there when I took the pictures.

Very very impressive. I assume you put the fiberglass, resin and bed liner stuff on after you assembled the box so that it would seal off all of the joints around the box?

Exactly. If I were doing it again I would eliminate the fiberglass cloth. I think 3-4 coats of resin would seal the plywood, then coats of bed liner. The glass cloth was probably redundant.

I wonder if a deflector just above the windshield would help with mpg. Thinking of the rack on top of the old Nissan Xterra where it was solid in front.

Congrats on this project... You are the maker! I'd always said that if there's a 'maker friendly' vehicle on the market today, the Maverick is it, and you've gone above and beyond. Very cool, indeed, continued enjoyment with it. Also; love the pictures. 🛻
