My hood inverted!

Everyone, my Maverick was never put through a car wash, it was a couple months old and found a professional ceramic coating guy, made me a deal on the "lifetime" coating for $1000 cash. Dirt doesn't stick. I use Maguire's waterless car wash and wipe off with microfiber towels. It's like the paint has a plastic coating on it.
He called me and did my wife's Subaru for $600 and I will never look back, great investment.

But that's a lot of $10 car washes.

The high velocity air blower / dryer at an automated car wash inverted my hood!

Hood went from generally convex to generally concave under the air pressure from the blower.

It did "pop back" but this can't be good for the paint.

Anyone else ever see this?
Man the hood must be thin!

It does seem expensive, trust me I'm a cheap ass, but not one scratch or worry about damage either, and it's a selling feature, will I recoup my money probably not, but I guarantee it will look better if/when I do go to sell.

One more reason for me now to stay the hell out of car washes. I was thinking the touch less ones would not be too bad but hearing this, nope. Nada. Zip.

I just took to local ROCKET WASH and all was good,except that the hood does flex with the big blowers at the end of the wash.

I have 2 Mavericks. We live in a dusty dirt road.
We have the unlimited car wash plan and have been running each of them through there about 5 times a week for the 2 years and 30,000 miles we have owned them. Yes many times the hoods oil can down from the blower. I was concerned at first but I still see no permanent distortion in either the metal or paint. I was concerned about all the plastic fading but I use 303 protectant on all the external plastic and tonneau cover about every 3 months.
Everything on the outside is still looking great. I use 303 on everything on the inside and all of the rubber/weatherstripping and have not had any problems with scratches on the interior.
I used to say that I would never use a car wash but as I have gotten older an more limited physically I just couldn't keep up. This is a new car wash that uses all the chemicals that are made for modern car finishes and they pressure wash the strips and brushes every day to keep them clean.
Both the trucks are holding up well and we love our Mavericks.

I noticed a lot of hood movement on the highway on my Maverick after receiving it. I had a discussion with a buddy of mine that ordered his when I did. He got his Mav 5 months before I got mine. Anyway, we both made adjustments to the threaded corner bump stops of the hood and it greatly reduced the high speed movement.

Do that here and it will literally have algea and moss growing on it. A nice layer of green sludge.
