I do have a sales order from the dealer, that’s all.

Wasn’t a fan of the black roof and hood stripes with the BAP so decided on this.

-Lariat Ecoboost AWD

-Azure Gray

-4k tow

-Moonroof

-4 piece splash guards

-Floor liners no carpet mats

-Keyless entry

-Tailgate lock

-Wheel locks

X plan eligible and the local dealer I was going to buy a 2024 from took the order, if you need a recommendation on Long Island let me know.

Cost is $39,523 not including tax.

Splash guards may hold up your scheduling/production. Keep an eye on this forum for when the "constraints" lists are posted. Splash guards often are on the list.

They only thing I might change on that order are the splash guards. Tim Bartz the Ford Video Guy (Long-McArthur Ford) even said in his order guide video it's probably better to leave these off if you want it to be built quicker. Honestly there are aftermarket versions that are cheaper. I have a set of Mabett's from Amazon, they are $30.

Would you know if that goes for the Window & hood deflectors as well? I ordered on 8/1 and don't want to wait for lesser items that can be added later. Thanks

I don't recall if those where specifically a "constraint" in past years, but in general the advice is to only order things that MUST be built or put on at the factory. Anything that can be added by a dealership or yourself later is wise to order/install later. This even goes for things like Spray in Bedliner. Most dealerships either can do that in-house (for the same price or cheaper than the factory), or have an agreement with a local place that will do it for them.

I think that is good sound advice, unless it must or should be put on at the factory get it done after.

The tailgate lock is only for when the tailgate is left down, so it cannot be removed. It comes with a lock for when it is closed.

If you have a locking tailgate and you keep it closed most of the time then it really isn't necessary.

Correct. All Mavs have a locking tailgate, for when it is up. Just some are power and some are manual.
