update 2/19 mullinax vero 3 mavericks this time all say SOLD,, not mine - but I do have a vin and date now week of April 10th that will be about 18 months- and we may not get it. still not sure, up to my wife, all I had to do is get a santa cruz, and 3 weeks latter Ford emails me- !! figures!!

update 2/26 NO mavericks to be found on the vero lot today, LOTS of f-150s now all dscounted.

Doubt it. It’s Florida, man. There is going to be a $899 doc fee and a bunch of other BS. That’s what they did to me right up the road at the Auto Mall.

A dealer fee and a doc prep fee are two different things according to the dealer. But the doc prep, tag transfer is done by MIT graduates who get $700/hr,

thats the only good thing about mullinax .no dealer fee,I bought 2 there,added tax ,tag,transfer etc.only.

Yes indeed, in Florida you will suffer. My Maverick was delivered to the dealer after 11 months who took it upon themselves to modify it. Naturally increasing my quoted sales price thousands. Then a local judge instructed me to pay the charges and bring them to court.
She had in her hands a copy of the signed bill of sale that prohibits court action. I'm 79 years old and have bought over 23 new cars and have never bee treated like this. Ford does not respond to emails, letters and phone calls.

Picking it up tomorrow at 2. Got all my stuff together for the x plan and financing. Only issue I will probably have is the private offer. I have two of them because I have two orders, but the only one the dealer sees is the one for my PA order. I got the number though from Ford CS so just hope they can figure it out.

Nice! Show up early and make the certificate your first priority, even before the looking at the truck stuff. Don’t back down and see that you get your discount, you earned it! Good luck!

Shouldn't be an issue if you have the private offer number from ford, worse case they might have to get with Ford on it with your info and send you a check later. I know my refund from the EPP and GAP on my trade in took like 4 weeks to come in the mail but I got it.

So how did it go?

It took about two hours but everything was good. The only thing was he used the wrong certificate number so if I want to take the other order when it comes in it may make it difficult. I sent him the certificate number beforehand and told him the zip was messed up and he asked for the address so I thought everything was good. Then when we were going over he said he had to use the one that was in Smart Vincent which was the other number. Had all of my paperwork together which helped. Window sticker was $36,200 and after all the discounts and TTL the OTD price was $34,100 which was before the down payment. Overall it was still the quickest I ever spent at a dealer buying a car.
