Update in the build.
Had to take off the front spacers (1,5 inches) last week. The Yokohama 245/70 was doing fine, but the spacers made it rub. Wasn't expecting that and since I don't want to change much of the pickup right now (warranty issues), that was the easiest way out.
BEFORE, with the...
Basically yes. The only option we have here is the Lariat FX4 AWD, 2.0 engine with Tow Package and Co Pilot 360 mounted with the 225/60r17
We can't change any of that, it's kind a "take it or leave it" situation right now.
But that are minor changes, like the blinker lights in the mirror...
When I bought my Maverick I passed the opportunity to buy a Cyber Orange or a Velocity Blue that were sitting in the yard of a dealership. Almost got the velo blue, but decided to wait a month for the Alto Blue.
When it arrived, it was even better than I thought it would be.
And yes, in...
This kind of small trucks exist in Brazil for a loooong time. Since the 60's, I think. They are just small cars with a bed. I don't know what car you have over there right now to compare to, but you can think of a El Camino with a very boring engine (4 cil, 110hp more or less).
Just a curiosity. But if the colors are the same everywhere (and I think they are), the Velocity Blue in Brazil is Indianapolis Blue.
(and I almost got mine in that color)
Let's hope for the aftermarket parts 😪
That's not Ford parts, they are Keko parts and right now only sold to dealerships in Brazil.
And after I posted some photos of my Maverick on Instagram, a few people come ask me about the accessories. So even here it's not available everywhere right now.
You could have both AND puddle lights without trouble.
To me, and I'm talking about my experience with cars in Brazil, there are little things that most car brands take off cars to make it cheaper for them. What's the cost of some led lights and a sensor? Probably not much, but in the long run...
I'm amazed how bigger tires change the aspect of this pickup. The stock tires are just too small.
Nice build, awesome truck. Btw, love the sticker. It's the kind of thing that keeps me giggling for some time when I see on the road.
Don't know. I don't have the sliders, but looking in a video the mounting of the rack could get in the way of the rail.
This is the bed rack mounting on the inside part. It's one in the back and 2 more in the front.
Gonna do. I was traveling in the weekend, didn't have a lot of time.
I have a friend that sold a VW Kharmann Ghia to the US. All went well but he told me that it was a pain. To buy a car from the US here is very expensive and I can't afford. I always dream to have a Raptor.
OK, got some news...
Good question!
1 - I checked the truck and i don't have any kind of puddle lights.
2 - No seat memory either. But I don't need that, since my wife always remember the position the seat and if I move it a inch it'll ask me WHO WAS HERE?
Thanks. I liked my tires very much too. Good traction in...
Yeah, I'm starting to think that the colors could be the same or very close. Just for curiosity, the Velocity Blue here in Brazil is Indianapolis Blue.
The Maverick on the side of hood scoop is a custom sticker using the font in the bed rack and tailgate.
I have to say that of all things in...
