MRT Tremor Trail Rated SideKick (Side Exhaust) Installed - Video Sound Clips

I just installed the @MRTperformance Tremor Trail Rated SideKick side exit exhaust on my Ford Maverick. It's exactly what I was looking for. It provides a bit more sound than the stock exhaust but it is still subtle and has no drone. The install was pretty easy as MRT gives detailed instructions. Here are some pictures and videos below.

Yeah im not too sure about clearance. The picture I posted might be misleading because I was laying on the ground when I took it. The exhaust is not any closer to the ground than the stock exhaust and I assume some clearance is gained in the rear section of the vehicle.

Ok I did get mine stock onto some rocks lately. But I like that exhaust.

it was not too bad. It would have been easier with a lift but it's definitely doable without one. Here are a couple videos that helped me to install it. One thing to be careful of is where you drill the holes for the exhaust hanger provided with the kit. Make sure where you drill in a similar spot to the install video and make sure there is clearance for the self tapping screws on the inside of the frame where you drill into.

Hi Everyone my 2024 Maverick Tremor was the mule that MRT used to develop the prototype exhausts. I have the side kick king of the hill which is the side exhaust without a resonator (muffler) it sounds great and has more ground clearance than stock. It has a great sound but cannot be heard on cell phone calls which was inportant since I conduct business on my phone throughout the day.

I have had the exhaust for 10 months and have also had increased gas mileage due to the lower back pressure.

The exhaust is installed from the cat back and passes Massachusetts emissions inspection

It looks cool, but I’m not sure why they would call it trail rated, since you lose 3”+ of ground clearance (the pipe is 2.5” and the tip is 3”).

I have the sidekick without the muffler installed on my 23' Mav......sounds SO AWESOME!

I think the only reason you need that muffler is to keep the carbon black water off your garage floor.....

No drone? It's loud AF inside. I've had it almost a year, and can't stand it. It's great outside, but interior noise is unbearable -- especially if you're in the back seat. I'll be getting rid of mine as soon as I can afford to. And no, this isn't my first performance exhaust. I've had many Magnaflows on V8s, and even another 2.0 4-banger.

Do you have the one with a muffler or with no muffler?? I have the one with the muffler and it’s really not much louder than stock. My girlfriend rode in the car and didn’t complain or even notice I changed the exhaust LOL
