Which canopy do you have, and what was your average mpg before you installed it?

I appreciate that, I'll just assume it would've got the average rated mpg and compare it to that, thanks!
Can't really compare the Tremor MPG to your Hybrid. My Tremor with a Lomax Stance tonneau is getting about 25 mpg. Different engine and 4 wheel drive.

just added century fiberglass cap to my 2024 hybrid maverick. really just getting familiar with my new truck only about 700 miles driven. so far shocked with the drop in mpg according to the on board computer est. was regularly reading average mpg of 54 now i am seeing 46 mpg. some of the change may be attributed to me getting used to the new truck. my previous truck was a 2006 ranger 4 cyl with 5 speed manual transmission i got 29 mpg on interstate at first, that dropped to 27 mpg with a light weight aluminum cap.
i do note that the prior cap added a lot of wind noise where air was moving between the back of the cab and the front of the cap. that noise has been eliminated as the new cap is able to fit a lot closer to the back of the cab. as there is no break between the cab and the bed there is no need to leave a gap for flexing or for wind to move. the down side may be debris falling between cab and cap has no were to go and i don't know how it can be cleaned without removing the cap

I have the ARE V on my Frontier. Yesterday, I tried to slide a queen sized mattress diagnally... It was a thicker mattress than I had anticipated. However with the low height and tilting sides, it wouldn't fit... Ended up strapping it to the top (which is a pain becuase I just painted my Frontier in April as so had to be extra careful with the strapping). I know that an ARE MX would have given enough clearance (height) to accomdate it inside, rather than above. Anyway, I've seen this scenario played out several times over the four years of owning this CAP; It's always about 3 or 4" too low. The midrise caps exist for a reason. LOL.

No brainer for me, I'm getting the MX... And of course the relative smallness of the Maverick means a samller/lighter cap overall. It should be easier to wrestle on/off by myself and to store when I want it off. (I take my cap on/off all of the time.. the Cap Conundrum.. When you want it off, it's on... When you want it on, it's off.)

I can't imagine the increased height of the Leer 180 or ARE MX is going to contribute to appreciately significant aerodynamic (ergo fuel economy) losses in comparison to the V... I think you'll appreciate the added height of either one over the V. Obviously the 180/MX will weigh a bit more, but again not appreciably so.

I know I'm coming across very opinionated, it's just that yesterday's experience is so fresh in my mind. The struggle is real...

That looks nice, but it's a hump back. I'd rather not have the extra height.
