More power in mud rut mode?

Went out playing in the snow. Put it in mud rut mode and noticed an audible difference when getting on the gas ..didn't know if this opened up secondary valves like vTec does or the v6 yamaha motors used to but could definitely tell a difference in power and sound. Has anybody else with a tremor experienced this? I'll try to take a video when I can

It changes the shift mapping to keep you at higher RPMs to and in the "meat" of the power band. The higher RPMs will make it feel and sound that way.

It keeps the RPMs high and minimizes shifting. You're probably also hearing fake engine sounds piped into the cabin.

That's the answer I was looking for the fake cabin noise because it definitely sounds different... I didn't notice so much the RPMs, or shifting as really didn't get that high in it

Sand mode does the same with fake engine noise.
