I sprayed a good bit of it between the (blue) dash and the (black) defroster vent. Driver side. Had to spray it back towards myself. Laid the can flat and aimed tube back towards me. Make sure you have the dry lube. Good luck, it took me a couple tries.
UPDATE: WD40 dry lube for the win! When hot my dash was quiet but on cool or cold days it drove me crazy. I originally tried the WD40 without success and kept trying foam, O-rings etc. with nothing working. I tried the WD40 drylube again spraying it back more toward the steering column and this...
I stuffed some foam pieces in mine in the same area as the cardboard in earlier post. Completely quiet and rattle free.... for a day. So nice but didn't last. Next day rattle was back. I'll wait for an update on the lube fix. Haven't had my Tremor long and really enjoy it but I don't do well...
Another penny-pinching move by Ford. The 2019 Rangers had Ecoboost emblems and the Lariats came with the engine cover. The gear selector PRD etc lit up in the console. 2020-2021 they stopped including them. All manufacturers are doing it.
