Moonroof making howling noise

The noise is particular when the roof is being tilted and not fully opened. It sounds like the wind is blowing against a leaf stuck somewhere in the back of the roof. This happens at any speed. I have another Maverick with same moonroof and it doesn't do this. Just started noticing this today when I tilted the roof for some air while driving. It's gone away as I close or fully open the roof. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

There is an air vent at the bottom behind the rear seatback that I imagine helps equalize pressure in the cab for the hvac, when shutting the door or opening the windows. Any change you've got something back there blocking the outlet?

Mine does this if I have both the sunroof vented and the rear sliding window opened. The sunroof has developed a nasty rattle when opened as well, but as long as it works, I'm happy.

Actually there was a leaf stuck to the side. Don’t know how it got there but it was dark and didn’t it until next morning. Removed and problem solved.
