Modules are on, now what?

I don't know how you could drive it off the assembly line without the modules firing up. This just means that your vehicle is built and off the assembly line.

If you look at my signature I have the dates. IIRC the modules showed live on mine the 23rd of December. When I checked my train car number this evening it had made it to the big rail yard in E. St Louis. Not much longer to go now until it's delivered to the dealer. It still could get held up at the yard or at the Shelbyville, KY yard where they unload the trains for my area (Cincinnati) and put them on auto transport truck to be delivered to dealers in this area. Even though it was a frustrating year of waiting the past month or so has been interesting to watch and track since things started moving and coming to reality. Its taken approximately a week on the train car so far and in general freight on railroads thats pretty reasonable.

It's intended for them and they intend to acquire it, that's what they're waiting for, that's what everyone's talking about. No need to troll them. Can't you be happy for them? They're excited.

The experience of buying off the lots seems so much better in retrospect.

Yes I'm well aware inventory is scarce and times have changed, just seems not for the better!

I think it's fun to customize and mod after getting it home.

Asking the manufacturer to do oodles of customizations exacerbated much of the delays.

If color choice and three trims were your only options and Ford just cranked them out and sent them out, chances are really good if your local dealer's allocation ran out your could just keep driving around until you found one.

A high level of customization is what a lot of people crave. Me too. But it's distinctly anti-production line that made Henry Ford famous.

My production started on the 5th of December and completed on the 7th. It shipped on December 10th with estimated arrival between January 6th and 11th.

It arrived at my dealer late-ish on January 3rd. I took it home just after 1pm on the 4th.

For what it's worth, I'm in Michigan. YMMV

I absolutely love this truck so far. I can't understand why people are saying the hybrid is sluggish-- I mean, it's not a sports car but it seems to get up and go better than any car I've owned previously. I haven't owned sports cars or luxury cars, but I have owned a few mid-size sedans and a few trucks. I tend to keep my vehicles for a long long time.

I hadn't heard about this, but that makes a lot of sense based on how the ford pass points work. This is good to know

My modules showed a week ago. Now stuck at body shop for spray in bed liner I believe.
