So it is about a month past my build date and I have no updates. I contacted my dealer and he says Jan 24th for delivery. I called Ford and the lady was very nice but had no idea where in the process my truck was. She couldn't figure out when my truck was started or if it was done. She suggested contacting my dealer.
My window sticker has been visible since Dec 17th. There is a blend date of Dec 15th. The Date on the very bottom of the sticker in the center has changed 3 times now. Dec 17th, Dec 24th and Jan 1st
This was yesterday afternoon.
Today my tracker updated showing the vehicle is in production as of Jan 3rd and an estimated delivery of Feb 9th. Also if I follow this:
To the Ford site that populates your Modules being turned on (this lets you know it’s actually built at the factory)
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt
It shows all of my modules have been turned on. Looks like over 100 of them.
Does this mean my truck just went on the assembly line yesterday? Did it just update because the lady at ford nudged the system? I have heard that the modules being turned on means the truck is built. But that wouldn't jive with the truck going into producing the same day. At what point during assembly do the modules go live? I tried the FordPass app to see if anything is showing, but I get an error that there are service are down.
My dealer has been decent and I don't want to annoy them every day. I am asking every other week. Next Monday I think I will see if they will send a visibility report.
