I've had my Wolfbox900 for over a month now and can't seem to find one uninterrupted day to focus on installing it. This post may motivate me to at least install it with cables/cords hanging all over the place, just so I can begin to experience the good/bad of this product. I feel there will be more good than bad. Especially since I already witnessed one serious accident and had my camera been installed, would have captured the entire incident.

I have a MY24 Lariat Hybrid with a Wolfbox G900 with the extra OEM style mirror mount so I do not need the included rubber bands to mount it over my existing mirror.

Worked great until my wife started driving the Mav rather than car (hybrid vs ICE).

The issue with her driving the Mav is that I am 5'7" while she is 5'0" and she naturally adjusts the mirror before driving. When she does this, it throws the front camera view way off.

Another issue I have noticed is that the head unit's weight causes it to ever so slowly tilt down and would not stay adjusted (until I was able to get the ball and socket of the mirror mount to be tighter.)

Then there is the display when using the rear camera. At times if the sun is right, you see both the camera view as well as the actual mirror reflection. When this happens, I have to turn the monitor head unit off, and use is as an actual mirror.

Have had the camera for over two years now. I generally like it, but I wanted a 4k waterpoof rear camera, so I went out and got its replacement:

A229 Ultra Series Landing Page

Mine is only 2 channels, so 4k+4k. May leave both in to see how they compare. At least with this one, my wife can adjust the mirror anyway she wants.:cwl:

There's a good reason factory backup cameras don't work while in a forward motion.
They do now. My F-250 rear camera works in Drive...3 view modes...bed...back view...down hitch. And it's a 2022. :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

I did the complete installation of my Wolfbox G900 TriPro dashcam including using the OEM mount verses the straps, used the OBD II port to power it and tucked all the wiring out of sight in less than 3 hours - just do it lol
