Micro 3 add a fuse?!?!

So apparently the entire state of New Hampshire does not know these exist!
Nor does Viofo who I bought my dash cam from with the install kit. (4 different fuse taps, non are micro3!)
I have checked every auto parts store I could find.
Called my Ford dealer.
No one carries them!

Got my front and back camera completely installed, just needed to connect the power!
I guess that is what I get for assuming the kit had the correct one!

Anyone have any idea where to buy these locally? I hate getting so far and not being able to finish!
They won't from arrive from Amazon til the middle of next week.

(For those not familiar, different stores call them different names. Add a fuse, add a circiut, fuse tap.)

I ran into this issue when I installed my 10" subwoofer with amp. NO ONE KNOWS what the heck a Micro3 is!! I gave up and wired my setup differently. As for your case, you will have to go the Amazon.com route. You can buy an entire kit with the various types of fuse taps.

You can use a Micro-2 tap, just to get you powered-up. The "center" slot in the fuse box is "hot", just make sure the non-wire side of the add-a-tap is in that position.

My husband just told me he found some on Amazon that will be here Saturday.
I was gonna run out and do it. He said to wait....

I will say, I did stick one of those in just to see. It seemed loose, like it would fall out.

No doubt, the Micro-3 is a better fit.

Good News! Amazon came through this morning. Took me all of 5 minutes to finish the install.

Thanks for the helpful ideas. Sometimes it is better to find some patience. Not my strong suit!

I will say the hardest part was fighting with the molding on the A pillar. Every video showed it just popping in and out. Mine had a death grip at the bottom that would not let go! Then it didn't want to go back!
Best part was in all that fighting I dropped the lead from the back camera. When I picked it up again it had fallen out of where I had it and was now outside of the brace for the glovebox. Got everything back together and realized I had to take it back apart to put it behind the brace.

I wish mine had them! I called every auto parts store in Keene and Concord. Even drove to one in concord who said they were 100% sure they had them and didn't need to look. Guess who didn't have them, or even carry them.
