Blue leather interior is optional on the Llncoln Corsair, and looks great. I drove a silver one with the blue. Rides nice, but DANG! $$$

What I like most about the name Corsair? It was also a fancy Edsel model.
I had an Edsel Pacer 4 door.

Went with the "Asher Grey" paint and Slate interior with the Monochromatic package.

I could say that about a maverick that is almost 8 months missing from my driveway, from date of order, and it will be 9 months before it gets built(unless bumped) 10 - 12 months ( chip hold) before delivered.
But i Get what you are saying, True it is not a Truck (Body on Frame) but in the classic terms of Trucks nether is the Maverick, that is where its appeal lies, it is not a truck nor is it a boring Suv/ Sedan/CUV/ etc, but it does me no good in an unusable either state that my build is currently in.

I want big things for these little Trucklets. But i will be walking away from mine if and when it is ever delivered, but By God I will take it for a test drive.

You think the wait/delay times on the Maverick are irksome? Order a Corsair to really try your patience..
Picking up On 5-7-2022 Less than a month after it was built and a week or so less than 3 months from order date, so yea the wait times are atrocious.

I have both! Love my Corsair, love my Maverick. Totally different cars. If I'm fancy(wedding etc) we take the Lincoln but fishings rods, trips to home Depot etc are in the Maverick

I thought of going Bronco Sport, Escape (Hybrid), or Corsair, and went with the Maverick originally for pricing, and the seating position is a bit higher than the Escape/Corsair. - Hey, 60 years old, over 6' 2", and getting in/out is easier on a Bronco Sport or Maverick than the Escape/Corsair. (Came from Subaru Outback). My Outback was older ('12 3.6R), so the non-soft touch interior is equal, although the Maverick is quieter and actually rides a better, or has more muted impacts, and don't even bother comparing the fuel economy (~21 vs ~50 in daily driving).

Really wasn't sure I was a 'truck' person, although did look at a Ridgeline when they first came out. Routinely doing small things around the house, such as replacing a door, hauling some trim/lumber, flooring, a stacking took box, and bags of mulch is MUCH easier with the Maverick than with my Outback, or the other vehicles I considered. - Apparently, I am either a truck person, or the Maverick is just the right amount of truck for someone who isn't/wasn't traditionally a truck person, having so much utility, yet being civilized in day to day driving.

Just weigh in how you might use the vehicle, if you're also cross shopping or contemplating a Corsair. Yes, the Corsair will drive more posh, and perhaps a bit quieter, with more pampering, but the utility isn't going to be the same.
